Local information

The conference takes place at the Institute for Experimental Mathematics, see the map on the travel page. This institute is not located on the University Campus! You can reach it by taking Straßenbahn 106 in direction Altenessen Bf until "Seumannstr.". From the stop of the Straßenbahn, turn left and walk down Ellernstr. for about 100 meters. The Institute for Experimental Mathematics is on the left hand side.

Getting to the IEM from Hotel Korn

In order to go from the Korn hotel, Hoffnungstrasse 19, to the Institut fuer Experimentelle Mathematik, Ellernstrasse 29, you either walk (see the attached map), or else to go to the station Rathaus Essen (see the attached map), take the Tram number 106 direction Bahnhof Altenessen and take off at Seumannstrasse, just at the corner of the Ellernstrasse.
